How your art is made and packaged

Sending posters might seem simple, but there's more to it than meets the eye. The goal is to ensure my posters arrive intact at the customer's home, without any damage during transport, regardless of the carrier chosen. Knowing the packaging and shipping rules can make all the difference.

I partner with a global network of premium on-demand printing to ensure your artwork is printed individually and arrives in perfect condition. Because I care about the environment and print quality, your posters are never mass-produced in advance, they are printed only when you place your order, reducing waste and carbon emissions.

Here's exactly what happens after you place an order:

1. Custom On-Demand Printing

Your artwork is printed individually using a professional Giclée printing process on archival-quality papers. This ensures rich, vibrant colors and crisp details that won't fade over time.

2. Wrapped in protective tissue paper

Once the ink is completely dry, your print is carefully placed on a flat surface and protected with a sheet of acid-free tissue paper. This prevents the ink from smudging, scratching, or transferring to itself during shipping.

3. Carefully rolled

Instead of being folded or placed in an envelope, your print is carefully rolled without squeezing. Loosely rolling the paper protects the delicate paper fibers and prevents permanent creases or excessive curling, making the smoothing and framing process much easier when you receive it.

4. Shipped in reinforced tube for boards

The rolled and tissue-wrapped print is placed inside a rigid cardboard tube with a spiral binding. These ultra-strong tubes act as a shield, preventing your artwork from being bent, crushed, or punctured by postal sorting machines or delivery trucks.

5. Eco-friendly and secure lids

The tube is securely sealed using lids that fit perfectly to prevent moisture and dust from entering.

6. Unboxing tip for you

When your tube arrives, carefully slide the fabric-wrapped poster out. Place it on a clean, flat surface and put some clean, heavy objects (like books) in the corners for a few hours. The image will lie perfectly flat, ready to be framed and hung on your wall!
