1. General Provisions & Identification

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products by João Brandão ("the Artist"), an illustrator and printmaker based in Porto, Portugal.

By placing an order on this store (hosted on Payhip), you agree to be bound by these terms.

Our store offers two distinct types of products:

Original Artworks & Limited Editions: Unique or limited-run pieces shipped directly from our studio in Porto, Portugal.
Print-on-Demand (POD) Products: Open-edition merchandise produced and fulfilled by our partner, Prodigi.

Currency: All prices are listed in Euros (€).
Taxes: Prices include VAT (IVA) at the legal rate in force, where applicable.
Payment Methods: We process payments securely through:
Mollie: Supporting methods such as MB WAY, Multibanco, iDEAL, Bancontact, and Credit/Debit cards.
PayPal & Stripe: Supporting major Credit/Debit cards.
Payment must be confirmed in full before any product is dispatched or sent to production.

Original Art: Dispatched within 3-5 business days via registered mail.
POD Items: Sent to production with Prodigi (hubs in UK, USA, Canada, or EU).
Customs: For orders outside the EU, the customer is responsible for any import duties or customs fees.

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws:

Physical Goods (Original Art): You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the item without justification. To exercise this, contact us at the email above. You will be responsible for return shipping costs.
POD & Custom Items: As these items are custom-made to order (Print-on-Demand), the right of withdrawal does not apply once production has started, except in cases of damage or defect.
Cancellation Window: We offer a 48-hour window from the time of purchase for any order cancellation and full refund. After this period, orders enter the production or packaging phase.
Refund Processing: All refunds are issued via the same payment method used during the original transaction (via Mollie, PayPal, or Stripe).

If an item arrives damaged:

Contact us at mail.joaobrandao.pt@gmail.com within 48 hours of receipt.
Provide photos of the damaged product and packaging.
For verified defects, we will provide a replacement at no cost or a full refund.

All artwork and designs are the exclusive intellectual property of João Brandão. Purchase does not transfer copyright.

These Terms are governed by Portuguese Law.
